4/30/2023 0 Comments D3dwindower english![]() ![]() ![]() Copy this file to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\XCom UFO Defense\XCOMģ) Launch D3D Windower and click the button at the topĤ) Find C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\XCom UFO Defense\XCOM and select "UFO Defense.exe"ĥ) Select "UFO Defense" on D3D Windower, then click the button to the right of the button with the small computer icon (this opens the settings menu)Ħ) Set width to 640 and height to 480 then press "OK"ħa) Press the button at the top left of D3D Windower that looks like a play button, then press the button with the computer icon to launch the gameħb) If this doesn't work, press the red X button next to the play button, then press the button with the computer icon to launch the game. If you're interested in running it, here's the solution I found:ġ) Install a program called D3D Windower here Ģ) There is a file called D3Dhook.dll with D3D Windower. The second version is the Gold version of the game meant to run on Windows, but it doesn't normally work on Windows 7 or higher. The normal version is the DOS version of the game running on DOSbox. ![]() You may notice when you launch the game that there are 2 versions. ![]()
